Well I have been in the wars again. All the rain and white stuff has made the yards muddy and very slippery. The three legged dogs appear to have no trouble negotiating running and turning on it, but me???? At full speed, by the time my brain has told my legs to stop, I have travelled a further 20 meters. The tripods, on the other hand, just drop onto their stumps and do the neatest handbrake turn and are off the other way before my brain has made communication with the rest of me. I'd like to know who the plonker was who left a big red tractor parked at the corner of the 2 yards and I'd give them a good bite! I came racing round the corner, tried to slow down, but only managed to control the front legs?. The back ones skidded sideways straight into the tractor. OUCH!! I cut my leg and bruised my buttocks! The dragon had to go get me some painkillers from the vet because she said I was such a whimp! The recovery was great though! The dragon let me lie down with her and watch that TV thing - the others are not interested. We watched a film about a boy who was special and could do great tricks. Harry Potter - I think he was called. The dragon was stroking the little scar on my brow (a momento of my run-in with the wire fence last summer) and saying I was marked just like Harry Potter. If only that little scar could really make me have wizard powers like him, I could magic up a chicken wing? or two. How cool would that be?!!!!! Oh dear, I feel a relapse coming on - where is that dragon? I need my brow stroking again, and a chicken wing would really help! XX Pim The Wizard Dog
